Asking Questions
According to astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, "No one is dumb who is
curious. The people who don't ask questions remain clueless throughout their
lives." Asking questions is an underutilized social skill in business and in
life, yet it is a key component of critical thinking. While those who talk the
talk are eager to dominate conversations with their arrogant, self-involved
opinions, individuals who thoughtfully take a step back to ask about and
explore the nub of an issue often stumble upon more considerate solutions.
Learning how to ask with genuine sincerity can change your outlook and help you
to achieve your ambitions in life.
