In his view, companies need to pay attention to workforce structure and give workers the credit they deserve. The CEO or the Workforce?

The public and the press usually focus on the names and faces of your company’s top brass, but they aren’t necessarily the only ones working to meet the organization’s objectives. Rank-and-file employees give life to the company’s mission, even though top executives often get the credit.

In fact, most corporate vision and mission statements are so generic that you would find it hard to identify any specific company – not to mention its employees – by reading such a pledge. But what if your company’s human resources (HR) department wrote its own version of the company’s vision and mission statements? Wouldn’t it include the vital contribution of the workforce? It would have to. Such a declaration would encompass the company’s goals and offer profiles of its most effective workers.
