Steve Jobs’s birth mother insisted that his adoptive parents be college graduates. In fact, Jobs’s adoptive father never graduated from high school, and his mother didn’t graduate from college. However, they promised to send Jobs to college to appease his birth mother. About the Speaker

Steve Jobs co-founded Apple in 1976. He founded NeXT Inc. in 1985 and bought The Graphics Group (later renamed Pixar) in 1986. On October 5, 2011, Jobs died following a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
