To calculate your D/G ratio, make a list of 10 disappointing experiences you’ve had in the past year. Analyze each experience, noting which cases left you with unresolved feelings. If you have unsettled emotions about two out of 10 experiences, your D/G ratio is 2/8 and your growth capacity is 80%. Convert a disappointing experience into an opportunity for learning and growth to increase your odds of attaining long-term success.
