Recommendation

What can you learn from Cameron Herold, former COO of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Well, you might pick up quite a bit, given that he increased its revenues from $2 million to $105 million in six years. Herold, now a business coach, says your enterprise can double its sales and profits in a three-year span. He provides specific tactical counsel, carefully explains his intriguing strategy for profitable growth at the rate of 25% a year, and offers clear precepts you can follow. Herold’s overall strategy is useful; however, while he’s quite likeable, he is not beyond a bit of ego or the occasional far-fetched notion. getAbstract recommends this ambitious, encouraging book to striving executives and entrepreneurs.

Work backward from...

Weirdly, I liked this book for its pragmatic and simple advice. And having worked in the management team of a start-up, I think applying these principles might well have made a difference.
