Recommendation

Ronni Eisenberg’s book is excellent preparation for entering the job market. After all, today’s inevitable workplace reality is that many modern jobs are as permanent as Tibetan sand art. This book is full of clever suggestions on interviewing, resume writing, and network building. It will help you tackle the difficult task of finding a job armed with the knowledge that at least you’re doing the search right. That, in itself, is a pretty good reference for your new job. getAbstract recommends this helpful book for the newly graduated, the newly unemployed, and those considering marching out the office door and back into the job market. (P.S. Don’t quit until you have a new job!)

Take-Aways

  • You must have a professional, disciplined attitude toward job hunting.
  • Create a job notebook to track your progress and setbacks.
  • Job-hunting requires a proper office and careful scheduling.
