Virtual presentations helped people carry on their professional lives, but exposed a problem: poor engagement. Sometimes the problem lay with the presenter and content, but key issues also developed around the web conferencing software. Frustration with glitches and delays, and participants’ inability to use interactive features kept people from getting the most out of the experience.
