Hunt lists 17 questions to ask yourself before making a life-altering decision that you may come to regret.
Ask yourself whether your impulse to quit your job is due to a temporary mood or an untenable work situation.

Start by determining whether your impulse to quit your job is due to pandemic-related languishing or because of an untenable work situation. If it’s the latter, and you feel your health is suffering due to workplace bullying or chronic overwork, quitting may be the best option. Before you do so, however, take 10 days to write down your feelings about your job to determine the exact cause of your frustrations.
